2019 North Georgia Elite 100

Version 2.1 of the Recruit Georgia 2019 North Georgia Player Rankings sees slight expansion from a Top 95 to a Top 100. There are six new names and one deletion from the previous version. All new names are BLUE.

Dropping out of the 2019 North Georgia Player Rankings is linebacker Charles Thomas. Thomas has recently transferred from Langston Hughes to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

The highest new entry at #44 is two-way standout Jordan Huff of Morgan County. Through ten games as a sophomore Huff accounted for 821 yards of offense while scoring six times. Huff also made his mark on the defensive side of the ball for the Bulldogs.

Grayson was steeped with so much talent across the board several players from the class of 2019 only got a taste of varsity football this past season. At 6-foot-4, 190-pounds Kevin Harris, II already possesses the length and athleticism to develop into a premier pass rusher. He makes his entry at #46.

Offensive guard Zach Scott played a huge role in Heritage-Ringgold averaging 35.7 points per contest. The Generals look to improve upon their (8-4/4-2) record with several key underclassmen returning this fall. Scott comes in at #58.

Making his entry at #78 is interior offensive line prospect Brandon Bunkley of Columbia. Bunkley played left offensive tackle for the Eagles but at 6-foot-2, 285 pounds he will most likely play guard or center in college.

Players such as Owen Pappoe (Grayson), Dominick Blaylock (Walton), Jadon Haselwood (Cedar Grove) and Keiondre Jones (Callaway) are already household names in recruiting. Pappoe leads the way with over 30 FBS offers followed by Haselwood with more than 20. Blaylock and Jones both have somewhere around 15 DI offers at this time.

Players that have really taken off since the last Recruit Georgia 2019 Player Rankings are Jaylen McCollough (Hillgrove), Ryland Goede (Kennesaw Mountain) and Rashad Cheney (BT Washington). McCollough has received offers from the likes of Alabama and Florida State. Goede, considered the top tight end in Georgia’s class of 2019, has received offers from Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State. Cheney decided to pull the trigger early for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Any coach that feels that their sophomore athlete has been missed on this early list should contact us via twitter @BVEvery or @RecruitGeorgia. Please include the hudl link when promoting your player and the film must be at the varsity level.
