Hope has good size and quickness and does a really good job of taking on contact and continuing to churn his legs for extra yardage. He was a new transfer to Johns Creek last fall, and jumped right into the starter role without a bump. He is a natural weaving around tackles, but knows when to drop his shoulder into the defender. Never quit attitude allows him to wear down a defense and to make big plays late in the game. Hope will run straight through arm tackles. He gained 10 pounds over the last year, and should be heading into college right at 200 pounds. Improved at every aspect of being a student-athlete in his 4 years in HS. Hope just continues to be a hard back to tackle his SR year, and just seems to finds his way out of the arms of the defender, either hopping, shrugging or just powering his way straight through defenders. Johns Creek is playing the best football in school history, and seniors like Hope have been huge making one long run after another. If I was an FBS program I would be re-evaluating our recruitment of Hope, especially with the potential he shows with his hands coming out of the backfield and how well he uses his downfield blockers.
