Goodson shows incredible running instincts. He has a natural feel to know when to make a cut has an assortment of jukes to get of tough situations. He also looks to have excellent football speed. This offseason he has been hard at work improving his craft. Last season was a strong start for the North Gwinnett running back as he is just beginning to fill out his frame. The junior has an explosive first step and will absolutely be a camp invite guy this summer. We expect big things in fall ’17 as North Gwinnett will look to be one of the more dynamic offenses in the state of Georgia. Goodson made Tom Lemming’s Top Prospect list in the state of Georgia. He is a solid pass catcher out of the backfield, showing reliable hands from what we saw at the Corky Kell 7v7.

Goodson he has been playing like a man possessed, and put together one of the best performances in the state playoffs. Against Marietta and Grayson he ran for 447 yards total and making clutch plays in the process. Waiting to hear his latest 40 time later this offseason, but colleges are extremely impressed with his top end speed and versatility he shows as a receiver coming out of the backfield. Tyler Goodson is proving all scouts that he is a no doubt FBS running back this season, and expect to see more schools offering in the coming months.

2017 STATS: 1437 rushing yards (7.6 ypc), 25 TDs & 305 receiving yards

What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I love the sport of football but I also understand how important it is to work as hard in the classroom as I do on he field. I have great work ethic and I am a multi sport athlete. When the lights go out on Friday night I am already looking to improve to see what I can do better. When friends are hanging and others are sleeping I am training and watching film. I am coachable, humble, and fun to be around. I take everything my coaches say and use it to improve my game. I believe hard work, integrity, and coach-ability will take an athlete further than talent any day.
