Appropriately nicknamed “The Freak”, Owen Pappoe’s measurements are off the charts. He is the first freshman to ever play varsity for Grayson and be named the The Opening team. Pappoe explodes through his tackles and is an extremely physical player. His wing-span is really impressive and he is terrible hard to block. Over the summer FSU, Tennessee and Georgia offered and now the outstanding OLB holds over 30 offers. Pappoe was one of the first people to ever sign up for Recruit Georgia – I think the question we are wondering is will he be playing running back at all his senior year. His 147 SPARQ score is the highest in combine history. Pappoe will be making his college decision on May 5th.

MaxPreps’ Runner Up for Freshman Player of the Year

2016 STATS: +90 tackles

What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Very young in the game but I’m very aggressive and explosive. I want to be the best at everything I do. Currently starting OLB on Varsity.
