2019 ELITE 300

Here is Version 3.0 of our 2019 rankings. This is our last installment of our 2019 rankings until the 2018 season is underway. Players who have little to no varsity film, even if they have P5 offers, are not ranked. If you want to join our free database or need your information updated please fill this out HERE. Players who are making updates notify via Twitter messenger.

The latest rankings is now expanded to 300 players with 50 new players added. We predominantly used our 2019 Premium Database to make it. Colleges that are interested in purchasing our Premium Content please contact recruitgeorgia1@gmail.com and learn about all of the top players in Georgia that are being overlooked. Every college who subscribes will receive a Class of 2020 database for free.

One of the major  changes to the latest rankings is the addition to Jared Bartlett from Collins Hill, who now drops into the top 100 at #77. The speedy linebacker saw his recruitment catch on fire in May with offers like Alabama, Wake Forest and West Virginia being the most recent. Bartlett is dynamic at defending the pass out in the flat, and also totaled 14 tackles for loss last season. West Virginia commit Deshone Stoudamire is not too far behind at #81. The Stephenson wide receiver displays really good ball skills, excellent size and really good breakaway speed.

Coming in at #96 is DeAngelo Griffin from Crisp Co. The low key player holds offers from GT, Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland, South Carolina, Wake Forest and Arkansas. He has a wide frame and can stuff the run in the middle with the best of them. Dequanteous Watts from Jackson-ATL jumps in at #122. The lanky cornerback was new to the position last fall, but took to it quickly. He is an ultra-competitor. With P5 offers like Ole Miss, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech – Watts is sitting good with his recruitment after remaining quiet until the evaluation period.

Rounding out players who made a big jump in the rankings is Ryan Davis from Blessed Trinity at #185. The multi-sport star catches everything in his path, and is a true clutch football player – most notable play was his perfectly timed high-pointed catch against Carterville in the state playoffs that gave his team the lead.

Disagree with our rankings? Please share your thoughts down at the bottom – criticism is welcomed! A Class of 2020 Top 75 will be ready very soon, so stay tuned!

Class of 2021 gonna be a good one; I coached some of them at the camp markel shannon out of mitchell co. is a special kid, so is the two boys from lee co.

  2. Jamie Pettway at #71??
    Delveccio Powell unranked?? ?
    Logan Berryhill #100??

Missing Harry Veal and JT Elliott from Frederica Academy

    Eric Phoenix from Windsor Forest?

You might want to visit the 912 if you haven’t lately

  3. Reply Post By Dawson Fan

You are missing a couple good ones from Dawson County. Safety Logan Barnes, T34th in total tackles in the state and #2 for safeties with 122, and first team all state by YOUR recruiting service. RB Sevaughn Clark, 8th in GA in rushing yards with over 1,600 yards.

What changed between February and the end of April?

    1. Added another 125 players to the list, so that’s a big change. I evaluated more players during that span too, that’s why I went a few months between rankings. Also, some players have grown, gone to camps and been tested out with guaranteed measurements. Other scouting services host camps/combines, but only one scouting service (RecruitGeorgia) gets all of the top participants tweeted to them. That’s another piece to the puzzle.

      1. Reply Post By Anonymous

There’s a huge difference between Camp performance and game play….there are lots of guys that look excellent in camps but don’t show well on the field when it matters! Just saying!…. But, get it…trying to get broader exposure…..and some will definitely get exposed!

        1. Yes, you are right. I do most of my rankings based off game performance for that reason, but it would be ignorant to not acknowledge guys who have performed well this offseason, especially since most of them were already on my radar. I’m adding the links to their profiles over the next day, everyone can take a deep look at each player if they want and see what my rationale is.

  8. Everyone is so wrapped around the looks, the camp performance, and what the HC says! But Half the people that aren’t in the top 100 could easily be in the top 50 if people would take them serious and open there eyes ! On another subject Amir Spivey at 181 is crazy he is clearly one of the top WR in Georgia

How hard is it to miss a 6A All State & 2 6 A All Region player in 2017 ? 1,000 + season & missed one game * has more than 5 offers Aaron Bedgood of Richmond Hill C/O 2019 has a high school career & numbers that makes him ELITE *

  11. Reply Post By King

You have players on this list with not one D1 offer. Treyvon Evans 6’2 215 OLB already has two D1 offers from Southern Miss and Tulane. He attends Carver High School In Columbus Ga. I wonder how this list is generated and what matrix are you going by.

    1. Point taken. Sounds like Trey is benefiting from RG Premium tho with at least one of those offers.

  12. Reply Post By Anonymous

Total biast opinion on who pick the top 250, definitely leaving out outstanding players who have GAME FILM!!!

    1. Of course good players are going to be left off the list. The state of Georgia has a ton of talent, but this list is not biased. There are kid’s that have been signed up for YEARS not ranked. If I wanted to be biased, I would do what so many other websites do, and just rank the guys who are conveniently in front of them. Nothing is going to be perfect, but to suggest that I have a bias is something I take offense to, and what I pride myself on as a professional in this industry. I suggest anyone who feels slighted should contact me at the top, as I always keep an open mind about any athlete.

  13. Reply Post By Anonymous

The list is not respectable… This list like many others appears to be about who your inbox is filled with and hype kids with lack luster film. Some of the state’s top performers have been left off this list of yours… and player lacking quality film and production are present… smh

    1. You must be kidding… We have players from smaller schools like Chattooga, Dougherty, and Dooly Co. Plenty of great players in Georgia, but this list not based of last fall’s production, but on how I believe they will perform in college. Version 3.0 comes out at the end of May.

Rj McDaniel Jr from Locust Grove High School is about to blow up

    1. I surely hope so.

Last yr there was a safety from Norcross left off this list. I know and everybody else know he ended up being one of the best safety’s in the state. I want say no names. But trust me everybody on here complaining has a REAL GOOD REASON TOO.

    1. I know exactly who you are talking about. Not going to explain why we didn’t rank a kid in a public forum either.

  16. Reply Post By Anonymous

Yal have to realize that this is the way politics rule things. The MACHINE will be behind certain players So by me saying that you have to take control and be that MACHINE behind your kid. Because trust me these sights got alot of kids ranked above kids that they shouldn’t even be. PEOPLE ITS THE MACHINE BEHIND THE KID. alot of kids will get offers over more deserving kids because they have that MACHINE behind them.

    1. There is zero politics in our decision-making. Go ahead and ask around.

Visit me on YouTube I’m Akoye I break a player down to from his first step to his last. There’s a Norcross LB upcoming senior I had the honor of checking out and he gets good marks on everything that you need. Why isn’t he Ranked. My name Akoye check me out on YouTube. I’m not just your everyday talker.

    1. I like your YouTube videos. Email me please and let’s talk – recruitgeorgia1@gmail.com.

Look at OT David Bowman from West Forsyth.

Akoye here again. I also broke down film on another Ga. Kid Cotter last yr out of Broswood. This kid has what NFL GM want and nobody in Ga and the Region noticed it. UNBELIEVABLE

    1. Hey Akoye (Acquired Knowledge Over Years of Experience), I’m very familiar with Chris Cotter. He played TE JR year and then moved to linebacker after Leonard Warner graduated. His recruitment was the direct result of colleges only recruiting off of junior film last year due to the early signing day. Many players like him went completely unnoticed and he was someone I projected to go FBS. Christian Wright is the young man out of Norcross, he’s a great player made All-State honorable mention on the website and had over 120 tackles on the year. This is a talent heavy year in the state at linebacker, and Christian is certainly a player we are watching closely over the next 4-5 months.

I don’t see the QB from North Murray on this list. I don’t understand Why he isn’t, he put up huge numbers his junior year. The times I have watched him he has looked phenomenal.

  23. Reply Post By Witt

How do these rankings work. Do you have to have offers? Andre Witt is not ranked, he is on the level of some ranked.

  24. Reply Post By Norma McGill

What? Davion McGill not on the list y’all might want to check again this kid if very versatile and can play multiple positions but he just a lil Underrated right not but don’t forget his name Davion McGill

  25. Dk Ross should be higher. NO ANTWAN FAN, JT JOHNSIN , CAMREON JOHNSON, or JAYLEN JOHNSIN….??. All of these guys are stud’s at Perry High School. I believe their being over looked honestly. Don’t sleep on these names

Iaan Cousin – ATH Mt. Zion – Carroll 2017 Honorable mention all state 900+ yard receiver in a run based offense.

Tyriese Farley – FS Mt. Zion- Carroll 2017 1st team all state. Led class-A in INT’s with 8.

I do not know if they are registered through recruitgeorgia but they definitely deserve to be on this list.

  28. Reply Post By Anonymous

Wow, I cannot believe all the hate you are receiving for taking an honest attempt at putting a list of the Top 300 on YOUR own time and as a benefit to the community. Would love to see someone else take the time and due diligence to provide their own list of 300. Everyone is going to have a gripe about some deserving player that was left off the list, but this is a damn good attempt and credit you for doing this. For all the haters commenting, there are a lot of All Region players in the suburbs that play AAAAAA that are NOT on this list. If anything there is bias against kids from private schools and Cobb schools. Kudos to you again for doing your best on this. You can never satisfy everyone!
