What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I have a great work ethic and am a student of the game. I am also very explosive and can get my team out of a bad situation.

Yates is a phenomenal athlete who was awarded All-Region honorable mention last year for Milton. He shows a promising throwing motion, stepping into his passes, and having a decent release point. Yates throws the ball at a high velocity on his short to immediate throws, but would like to see him improve his deep ball some, which seems to hang up a little too long in the air. The 2019 recruit has a touch on his passes, leads the receivers well when throwing on the run, and shows a generally good feel at reading the defensive back. Yates’ potential as a dual-threat QB is apparent, he is a quick decision maker, and shows excellent quickness evading defenders but colleges are sure look at his height, and think about moving him to slot, but Yates can be electrifying at QB in the right system. He made a major jump junior year, and improved his passing totals by over 1000 yards and rushed for an additional 600.

2017 STATS: 2011 passing yards, 17 TDs, 1044 rushing yards and 12 TDs
