Watts is an ultra competitive cornerback who truly believes he is one of the best in the state of Georgia. At 6’2″ his length and general foot speed is pretty impressive. He has a long athletic gait, and cover a ton of ground in the blink of an eye. His ability to gauge the football from a distance, track the trajectory and get under the pass is really good for his grade. Watts is a solid tackler too, especially when you consider his slender frame. No doubt he has legit speed, adding some weight will help even more I think. Watts has to improve his hip flexibility and quickness – right now he shows quick feet, but hips can absolutely improve. I like his upside a lot, an FBS school can take his frame and work ethic and really improve his game.
