Simpson is part of a very talented class of 19 group for Frederica Academy. Simpson is a very athletic cornerback with elite jumping ability – seriously get his head right around the rim in basketball. He has excellent play recognition and a lot of times beat the offensive player to the ball. Simpson has impressive quicks, which allows him to stick to the receiver like glue. At the next level, Simpson looks like a lock down cornerback. He has elite Power 5 schools have already jumped on board and expect him to have 30-50 when it becomes decision time. Junior year he played quarterback out of necessity and made some explosive plays looking like another recent Savannah area legend Deejay Dallas.
