What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
The most thing that make me stands out is that I will chase the ball and give my best every down
Merritt is strong as can be and very quick off the football. Every time we watch the 2019 player live he stands out making plays. He is very strong at the point of attack, gets really good leverage on the lineman and drives them back with his powerful legs. I really like quick his hands are. Merritt has a big motor too, and we see him taking good pursuit angles and making tackles 50 yards down field. Cannot teach that level of effort. Lack of academic info is concerning. He has one of the best bench presses in the class of 2019 at DT. Absolutely a FBS football player.
