Rogers is a quick lineman and went up against some very good speed rushers during last season and looked proficient pass blocking. He has a quick kick-step, plays with heavy hands, and does a great job keeping the defender off balance while staying in front. Pass blocking definitely is his strong suite right now, but he shows plenty desire and ability as a run blocker too. Looks like he has long arms, which allows him to get some serious leverage on his opponent. This upcoming season he looked at home playing in the interrior at and blowing the defender off the ball. He played really well at defensive tackle as well, and showed really active hands and hustle getting after the ball carrier. Rogers has been on our site since 2016 when he was a freshman defensive end for Lovejoy, so it’s not a surprise to see him get back on the defensive side of the ball. With the way he can move, and the power he shows at the point of attack it will be hard to ignore Rogers ability to play on either side, and one of the best jumbo athletes in GA. 29.5 vertical at 310 pounds is pretty impressive.
