    Derrik Allen not All State?

Jamyest Williams By far played more productive snaps overall and lead his team to the state title player of the year . Was the difference maker in the championship game.

  6. Barrett!

      That kid is good

  10. Yeah Troy Simon was selected ahead of the young man from Roswell. Troy played all season with every team including Roswell afraid to Run or Throw on his side of the field. Against Roswell Coach Ford wouldn’t throw the ball at Troy even thought he has 2 6’3 wideouts! Neither had a catch when being covered by Troy! Roswell is one of the best teams in the country! They threw the ball down field more against Grayson then they did against Milton! Troy did not give up 1 scoring play this season. No touch down passes at all in 10 games!

    1. I hear you, but Justus Harris didn’t give up a TD in 2 years…… Man to man almost every play….

  11. This is non sense. …wait until the AJC/ AP comes out. Carries no merit in a lot of people eyes

    1. Thanks for putting all my hardwork down! I bet Todd Holcomb of the AJC has not watched as much film as I have. Just like how his preseason picks were less accurate than mine and why no one in the state even tries to predict every game every weekend, which I scored about 78% correct. On quarterfinals weekend I got 26-32 games correct. But don’t ask me, ask the thousands of college coaches who read my scouting reports daily and talk with me via email and twitter about college recruits. Entire coaching staffs for SEC and ACC programs, so I must be doing something right.

      1. Reply Post By Anonymous

Thank you for actually watching film, unlike a lot of other recruiting sites

    1. Leading tackler on an outstanding Roswell Team. This player is going to be a great find for some college. Definitely All State material.

Lambert and west Forsyth threw all over Troy and they were two defensive lead teams with little to no offensive fire power.

  16. Check your stats homeboy! Neither team completed a pass on his side of the field! Lambert lost the game trying to get there top WR a catch! He had 1 catch all night ( hitch pass to the other side of the field) Troy intercepted a pass on their final drive to win the game! Not to mention the number of knock out hits he put on both team’s running backs!! Find another corner in this state that lay the wood like him!!! Btw all the DBs on this list was at the opening this summer, Troy was voted MVP!!

  17. Reply Post By Anonymous

Troy Simon the top 3 db in of the best Db in 7A Football hands down, behind Terrell and Williams.

    1. Ok u don’t even believe that statement lol but look at his film

The running back for Lowndes Travis Tisdale #6 had the most yds per carry at 7.9. Had 16 tds. Also went over 1,000 yds with 30 less attempts than those chosen. Not saying those selected weren’t deserving, but he definitely got the short end of the stick! Rant over

  19. I’ve been staying up all night trying to make the website run better and instead I made it crash, so I had to get a backup of everything that happened and it reset everything on the site to 8:20 pm on Saturday. I’m extremely sorry but I do believe it should run 100x better today.

It won’t let me vote for Michael Barrett. When I vote it says bad request. However, I’ve been able to vote in other divisions.

    1. It should be okay now

  21. Reply Post By Anonymous

I think a lot of these players get rated from camps and not what they do on the field some of these players selected is not 4 or 5 star apparantly it’s more DBs that should’ve been placed in the ranks then that

Snub… Koby Cumberlander with over 30 touchdowns in two seasons… Balled out in the state game and 16 sacks in the year and didn’t make all state playing in the strong side and having two blockers in most passing situations.

Malik is the most underrated has only lost 2 games in 2 years

    1. Reply Post By Anonymous

Malik is an incredible QB, very fast with good footwork. He reminds me of a Falcons M.V or a young Ohio State Braxton Miller. He has an excellent arm and a very wide range of running skills..

      1. Reply Post By Anonymous

Malik should have stayed at Westlake and he would have a ring. Both teams in the finals were put together by recruiting so they get no props on their acheivements. Without the transfers neither team makes it to the dome. Without the transfers none of the players reach their individual accomplishments on the year.

        1. Reply Post By Anonymous

          ????

        2. Reply Post By Anonymous

          Did Westlake get a ring??????

          1. Did b you read the comment. Grayson won the ring by recruiting, Roswell got to the Dome of the back of Malik from Westlake. All I said was they get no props. Take those transfers away, put Malik at Westlake a ND they win it all. I’m just glad Roswell didn’t win cause he left his squad.

I would have to say after the performance Jamyest Williams put on returning and running the ball for Grayson in that championship he definitely deserves that #1 ATH pick… he plays iron man football.. Offense, Defense, Special Teams! Wow he put on a show, and the one downside that I saw in that game was Breon Dixon… He didnt play bad.. but he needs to learn to not talk after the play. It seemed like he was getting in trouble almost every time he was on the field, and not to mention the non-disciplined block in the backs during the kick/punt returns hurt them severely.

    1. Reply Post By Anonymous

I wrote the comment above, and want to clear up that the block in the backs were from the Grayson team, not solely Breon.

Curious about why Chase Bryant is not polling higher in this vote. He let his team to the state championship and is one of the best arms in the nation.

Its unfortunate that adults choose to run their mouth about a child’s situation when they have absolutely no internal information about it. Kids don’t make decisions, parents do. To think that some of these parents make the difficult decision to move their families to a different community, based solely on winning a high school ring that has no validity after they leave, shows your ignorance and lack of information. I know some of the kids and parents on both sides of this debate. Not sure about Grayson but Roswell is nationally recognized for academics also, which has a positive effect on a transcript. Gwinnett and Roswell have some of the best counselors in the state, which is important in the transition from hs to college. Also, 4 of the 9 Grayson transfers and none of Roswell’s had power 5 offers prior to transferring. #2 had a few small offers (Louisville commit), #7 had 1 offer, Jackson St (Virginia Tech commit), #10 no offers (Illinois). If the Roswell kids transferred to win the state then you’re right, they came up a little short. But if it was for reasons that hold much more weight than winning the ship, along with the opportunity to play on a nationally ranked team and play for a state title, I’d say they got exactly what they transferred for. Parents relocate their kids frequently for academic reasons or for what they feel may be a better surrounding for their kid, but since students-athletes can’t have academics w/o athletics, a school’s athletic program must be assesed as well. Grayson and Roswell weren’t the only schools that benefitted from transfers but that’s what everybody wants to talk about because they benefitted the most. There were at least 8-10 other schools that have benefitted from “high profile” transfers the past couple seasons. Salute to the parents that make the sacrifice and are able to legally put their kids in what they feel may be the best possible scenario in order to further their child’s education. Another salute to the parents that are able to stay where they are and achieve the same goal. Everyone’s path is different.

BS!!!!! One year at a school doesn’t help your academics. If that was the case a move would have been years ago. ROSWELL recruited him to get to the dome. They don’t give a damn about his academics.
