Recruiting Recap 4/28

Kicking off today’s Recruiting Recap is Zion Puckett. The 6’1″ 190-pound sophomore out of Spalding HS has picked up offers from Alabama, Florida State, and Tennessee in the last 7 days. The explosive 2019 recruit is an offensive stud at wide receiver, making acrobatic catches look routine. He showcases an elite ability to change direction, and does not appear to lose much speed in the process. Puckett also plays on the defensive side of the ball at free safety, where he is a solid tackler out in space. Expect the offers to start rolling in for Puckett this spring. His film is posted down below.

West Forsyth receiver Ben Bresnahan continues to rack up offers. The 6’5″ pass-receiving TE was offered by Ole Miss today. He’s working hard on his agility and route running this offseason with former NLF TE Kyle Auffrey.

Crisp Co. safety Jammie Robinson is a 2019 recruit that is coming on. A source close to the program said that he was the best player on Crisp Co’s state semifinalist team, which arguably had the best defense in the entire state regardless of classification. Robinson was offered by Georgia Tech today, making the Yellow Jackets his 8th offer. Earlier this month he was also offered by Alabama, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Auburn. Last season, Robinson had 106 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 3 interceptions while also toting the rock for 190 carries, 1384 yards and 20 touchdowns. Pretty unreal numbers for a sophomore. FILM

Tommy Tremble now has 24 offers after Georgia Southern came in today. The Opening combine standout was written on the website last month prior to all the offers but obviously that has all changed. Outward perception is that Tremble’s recruitment will go down between Tennessee and Georgia. He is a Georgia legacy, so Bulldogs fans should be feeling good – Profile.

Sleeper QB Trevon Wofford was offered by Eastern Kentucky. The longtime Recruit Georgia user had a lone offer from West Georgia prior to the EKU one. At 6’5″, his recruiting profile is worth a look – Profile.

Earlier in this week Jayden Barron only had 3 in-state offers, but now Troy and Ball State have jumped in ,and given the 6’2″ 255 DL five offers to date. He has the potential to grow into a DT – Profile.

Explosive Beach HS playmaker Kawan Williams earned an offer from Coastal Carolina today. This is his 3rd offer to date joining Georgia State and Western Kentucky. Williams has legit football speed – Profile.

Tyleek Collins has recent offers from Florida Atlantic & Michigan State in the last few days. The Hapeville Charter WR/RB is one of the top playmakers in the state of Georgia the last few years, and is capable of shaking a defender out of his cleats – Profile.

Ramel Keyton’s sophomore season was one of the best in the state of Georgia last year for receivers, so seeing his recruitment start to take off has not been surprising, but certainly noteworthy. The elite receiver was offered by Cincinnati today, but earlier in the week he earned a in-state offer from UGA. Keyton’s sophomore film speaks for itself, he has over 1000 yards, and was the favorite target of elite QB Harrison Bailey. His film can been seen below.

Mark Wright, an All-Region QB from Carrollton HS, was offered by Army today. He notified us last night that a lot of colleges have been showing interest after his impressing showing at The Opening, where his vertical tested out at 35″. Check out his Profile.

Another Carrollton player who earned an offer today was Cole Williamson by way of Stetson. At 6’5″, 326 pounds, Williamson has the size to make an impact at the next level. He also sports a 3.76 GPA – Profile.

Another massive sleeper in Georgia is Michigan transplant Steven Krajewski. The Colquitt County signal-caller was showcased on the site recently, and last night he earned his first college offer from Syracuse. Expect the 6’4″ quarterback to only garner more interest, especially once they see him fire off a pass in live action this spring – Profile.

Tijai Whatley was offered by Middle Tennessee yesterday. He has over 15 offers now, and we expect P5 schools to increase interest in the 6’2″ versatile athlete out of Darlington – Profile.

Charlie Thomas let Recruit Georgia know that he was offered by Auburn yesterday. The Thomasville safety is one of the biggest hitters in the state of Georgia. He now has multiple FBS offers but is heavily slept on by and large. We posted his HUDL down below.

Tyler Bird has received recent offers from Army, EKU, and Harvard. He is also now up to 222 pounds, and expects to play MLB this upcoming season for North Paulding. The 2018 recruit said that several P5 schools are showing interest, and want to see him play up close during spring practice – Profile.

Stanford, Georgia, Auburn and Duke checked in on Andre Tarver, the outstanding 2019 athlete out of Ringgold. He is currently rated one of the top players in Georgia for 2019 and we expect the offers to reflect that soon. Tarver is also a stud on the baseball diamond, so that is certainly worth noting – Profile.

Another Ringgold player that received some college interest was o-lineman Bucky Williams. This week, he was visited by Georgia State, Southern Miss and Furman. The 2018 recruit has a massive motor – Profile.

Last player we are talking about today is Joseph Charleston out of Milton. The elite 2019 safety was offered by Georgia earlier this week and we expect the offers only to continue to pour in. He was possibly the best 2019 profile we made last fall – see HERE.
