Relentless worker, uncanny instincts, top football speed, leader on and off the field.
Bird has good size at outside linebacker. He plays off the edge well and strings out plays using his speed. The class of 18 backer really gets after the ball and stretches the play out. Bird looks much more explosive from last season and is a very instinctual player in the run and pass. He does a great job of reading the QB’s eyes and seems to thrive in his OLB role.
