Tremble’s Recruitment Blossoming in Spring

Stealing the show a few weekends ago at The Opening combine was Tommy Tremble, a rising senior tight end. Heading into that weekend, the Johns Creek receiver had only one offer from Fresno State, but after an elite performance in the combine aspect of the field, colleges have begun to realize his immense potential.

We asked the budding prospect what the increased college interest has been like in the last week.

“It’s been crazy and all offers are a blessing so I think no little of any offer no matter what kind, and I did feel like The Opening did help me finally get my name out there for sure,” he said.

At The Opening, Tremble measured out at 6’4″, 225 pounds and had an impressive 4.61 40 time, a lightning-quick 4.2 shuttle and a 35.8″ vertical jump—potentially making him the most athletic tight end in Georgia. Colleges have quickly realized this, and Tremble has been offered by nine colleges in the last week, with Minnesota, Tennessee, Maryland, Dartmouth and Columbia coming in the last 24 hours!

Expect Tremble to make a jump into our rankings for the month of April, as he is quickly becoming one of the more coveted prospects in the spring. His film holds up well, and we think he can become a dominating pass-catcher at the next level.

Tremble talked about what makes him a good football player, and where he can improve.

“(How) I would describe my game is a big body that can move and be athletic,” he said. “I need to work on (putting) on the weight, but all in muscle.”

This Saturday, Tremble (PROFILE) will be heading to Athens for a visit. With several Power 5 schools offering recently, could the Bulldogs be next this weekend? Stay tuned to @RecruitGeorgia on Twitter and find out the latest on Tremble and the rest of the state’s top football players.
