Shiflett’s Stock Rising This Spring

Spring practice is in the books over at Northwest Whitfield, and it looks like quarterback Luke Shiflett has continued to progress from last fall. The Class of ’18 quarterback has had an exciting spring after he showed out at The Opening back in March and was rated soon after the No. 12 dual-threat QB in his class.

ShiflettSince then, colleges have frequently stopped by to check out the talented rising junior quarterback. FBS mid-majors have shown interest but have yet to pull the trigger on the gunslinger from North Georgia. To this date, Columbia is his only offer, but that could change quickly.

His summer camp schedule is chock-full of opportunities. Shiflett has been invited by Troy, UL-Lafayette, Middle Tennessee and Mercer to camp. He will also be participating in the MVP Camp on June 3-5.

From what we hear, Georgia State and Tulane are very interested in Shiflett as well. In our opinion it’s not a matter of “if” but more “when” Luke Shiflett is offered by an FBS program.

So stay tuned and be sure to follow @RecruitGeorgia to hear the latest recruiting news in our great state of Georgia.
