Ratings Rehashed

Here at Recruit Georgia we already know that our opinion is not the end all be all. That is why we encourage users to submit ratings for a player. After all, someone else might have a much more detailed insight about a certain prospect (I also think the whole star system is rigged based off how many subscribers a college might have).

Below are user-submitted ratings from our site with more information about a recruit in our first segment called “Ratings Rehashed!”

Austin Tracy
QB Sequoyah

Submitted by Joe: “Austin is a remarkable player and even better person. He is a devout Catholic and his family is everything to him. He is also extremely mature and well rounded on and off the field. He’s a natural leader. Austin also played SS and pitched in baseball. He has given up his senior baseball season despite being a college prospect in baseball, to lift weights and work on speed training in order to ready himself for college football. He is a serious student with a 4.2 GPA with an AP class schedule. He wants a meaningful education and to possibly pursue pre-med. He is simply looking for a good fit for himself and the relationship with his future coaches is extremely important and can solidify his choice in a school.” – RG Profile

Jaden Moreland
ATH Heard Co.

Submitted by Amari: “I have followed Moreland since 5th grade and he just gets better every year and he has an incredible IQ which allows him to react quickly. His soph season is a testament to that.” – RG Profile

Michael Cone
OG East Paulding

Submitted by David Lassiter: “I read the interview this young man did for the Clemson Insider and saw one regular season and one playoff game for East Paulding. I believe he’s only 16. One bio says he’s 320 and another says 310 but at 6’5″ he is quick and stalks the entire field and not just the tackle box. During East Paulding’s playoff game against Lanier, Derrick Brown the 5 star D end eventually rotated away from Cone’s left side after being neutralized and on 2 occasions, pancaked out of a play. As a Tiger fan I hope Clemson has slot for him. If not, I hope he gets an offer from an SEC team so that he doesn’t end up on a roster AGAINST Clemson. I’m choosing a4 star rating only because he’s so young and has only played varsity for a short time. I can only imagine he’ll get better, bigger and stronger.” – RG Profile

John Caleb Hutson
OT Collins Hill

Submitted by Aaron McConnell: “Just saw this young ball player at the NUC All-American game. Hutson played every offensive snap and showed good toughness fighting through what appeared to be a bad knee. He had great feet and finished defenders to the ground. Hutson from my standpoint was also the leader on the field, calling out plays and helping out teammates. Keep an eye on Hutson, if he continues to add muscle, he could become a highend Power 5 talent.” – RG Profile

Damian Nytko
LB Lanier

Submitted by Dan Winterbottom: “Great kid, excellent instincts, a nose for making big plays. Most importantly, a great person off the field. I had the privilege of knowing this young man for five plus years and to watch his growth and dedication to the game is impressive!” – RG Profile

Johnny McDonald
WR Alpharetta

Submitted by William: “I saw Johnny at a football this past summer, he was clocked at 4.43.

Pros: Great hands and ball skills, explosiveness and route running, quickness and speed, plays bigger than his size and very physical.
Cons: His actually 5’9, can get better at route running.” – RG Profile
