Nytko is an impressive young linebacker for Lanier HS. He takes good pursuit angles and does a good job of wrapping up his tackles. The class of ’19 athlete displays great awareness on the field and an innate ability at recognizing the play. This offseason he has looked very impressive in pass coverage, especially going up against larger tight ends. He is a student of the game and has worked hard at getting to this point. He is an intangibles type of player, get his hands on a football a lot. Nytko really got his moments senior year too, even playing some RB! Love the way the 2019 recruit plays the game, does everything so fundamentally well and is a natural at reading the play. Pass coverage has improved a good bit, he really does a nice job of reading the QB’s eyes getting a really good jump on the play. Plays really tough brand of football, and solid academics to boot, more colleges need to give Nytko a look.
Great linebacker and safety. Great upside and tremendous upside and work ethic. Don’t miss this one he is a starter for sure.

i coached damian from mites up to jr peewees, i believe 3 or 4 years, he had a great nose for the ball on D, was a ball hawk, in on every tackle, great reaction , knew at 10 years old to read than react, very coachable, great lateral movement and a very nice , respectable kid
Great kid, excellent instincts, a nose for making big plays. Most importantly, a great person off the field. I had the privilege of knowing this young man for five plus years and to watch his growth and dedication to the game is impressive!
Damian is a great athlete and what impressed me the most when he attended ETC (Elite Talent Classic) was how well he accepted coaching and adjusted to adversity in different game like situations.

I have enjoyed watching Damian develop and flourish into a solid LB. He has all the tools – best of all – Intangibles. Tenacity, work ethic and team first menatlity.
Nytko is a player that makes me want to watch the game. He makes plays on the other side of the field and doesn’t even celebrate he’s a nice respectful humbled man!
