What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My desire to always work on the things that I can control! My personal skills in relating to my Coaches in doing what they ask me to do without complaining. My grades and class work. My weightlifting and speed/agility routine. My discipline to learn my assignments and give my all during practice and Friday nights under the lights! Last but not least understanding the 40% rule! Which is the secret to mental toughness! It is the proven mental framework to push yourself beyond your limits.
Davenport is a very intense football player. Every snap is a new play and one that the senior keys on to dominate his man. He gets very good leverage on his opponent keeping his hands inside their shoulder pads. The senior showcases solid quickness and Calhoun would pull him a lot to take advantage of that.

As an OG, he has a very balanced stance, a very quick first step and stays low out of the blocks. When he has to drive block, he uses his excellent strength to engage the DL and stay on him, keeping his feet moving and driving through the play-side shoulder. When he has to double team, he quickly gets into the defender and once the lane is sealed, he moves on to the next level. On pass protection again he displays very good feet and he uses his hands very well, keeping the defender away from the QB. When the play is on the opposite side, he performs an excellent seal block then shows great hustle by getting to the ball carrier to assist in the downfield blocking.
