What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Starter as a sophomore so I will have a lot of experience going in college. I don’t just play receiver I also play Safety and can play running back, corner, or linebacker.

Slocum has decent size already at 6′, with an angular body type that he is slowly filled out into over the last year. Once he strides out Slocum can cover some space. The 2021 recruit has a good frame, looks to have wide shoulders, and should be over 200 lbs. by the time he is ready in college. The senior has added about 10-15 lbs in the last year here, which is very good progress – pretty much where we thought he would be a year from now honestly. Slocum looks like a SS. He has solid weight lifting numbers, and good body composition, but would like to see him accelerate to the ball carrier. From brief film from his senior year, that does also looked improved. He can be effective in coverage, and the improved acceleration is promising over the last year. Slocum has primarily lined up at SS, he’s been playing since his sophomore year. Right now he holds D1 offers from Bucknell and Marist. He has good grades with a 3.4 GPA and a 1080 SAT too. Definitely think he deserves more looks here, Slocum has the size and football instincts to be a good SS at the next level.
