Coleman Smith – QB
Mt. Pisgah

#9 QUARTERBACK

HT: 6’2″
WT: 185
GPA: 3.82
Class: 2021

Smith is a good passer, and shows nice footwork moving around in the pocket. He has a solid follow-through and does a good job of throwing off his front foot where he carries over his weight. He also has a very quick release. Smith can put the ball on a tight spiral. Smith throws some gems down the sideline where he leads the receiver extremely well. Throws the football with a good trajectory too. Shows above-average arm strength with a few tough passes off his back leg or on the run. His strong arm and mechanics should attract D1 interest. One area we wanted to see from Smith was an uptick in production on the field, but also results in the win column. That has happened, and his team is currently 4-4 on the year and has more than good chances to make the playoffs. Smith is also 2nd in Class A Private in passing with over 2k yards in just 8 games too.
