2019 South Georgia Player Rankings v 2.0

Version 2.0 of the Recruit Georgia 2019 South Georgia Player Rankings eyes expansion from a Top 24 to a Top 30 with seven new names.

Dropping out of the rankings is two-way standout Nolan Smith of Calvary Day. Smith announced this week that he will be continuing his football career at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He was the #2 ranked player in South Georgia in the class of 2019.

The highest new entry at #16 is athlete Java’n Singletary of Hawkinsville. Singletary proved to be a real offensive weapon as a runner and receiver for the Red Devils this past season.

Coming in at #18 is defensive end Rashad Wonnum of Taylor County. At 6-foot-4, 245-pounds Wonnum possesses the body to project as a strong side defensive end or he could possible grow into a defensive tackle.

Aaron Bedgood did a little of everything this past season for Richmond Hill racking up 1,092 all-purpose yards in ten games. This past December he led the American squad in the Georgia Elite Sophomore Classic with four catches for 65 yards. Bedgood makes his entry at #23.

All new names are colored blue. This list will be updated several times throughout the year as names surface on the recruiting trail.

Any coach that feels that their sophomore athlete has been missed on this early list should contact us via twitter @BVEvery or @RecruitGeorgia. Please include the hudl link when promoting your player and the film must be at the varsity level.

Take a closer look at Tift Left Tackle Austin Williams. He’s a big 6’3 280 lb. solid lineman. He played in the GACA Junior game and played very well vs. solid all star competition.
