Woodstock Wideout Gives Recruiting Update

Junior wide receiver Louis Hall was a preseason All-State selection by the Recruit Georgia staff at the start of the year. The explosive junior has put up 339 yards receiving, 5 touchdowns, and 40 receptions, while also being a threat in the return game.

The class of ’18 recruit had an exceptional fall last season totaling over 1000 yards and 12 touchdowns, which grabbed the attention of college scouts. Hall gave us a quick break down on which schools he is hearing from and his fall visit plans.

Louis Hall“I have been in contact with Coastal Carolina and University of Tennessee Chattanooga and I will be going to a game this fall for each of those teams.”

Hall has deceptive speed and a 2nd gear to burn defenders with relative ease. He scored 90.54 SPARQ score at The Opening this offseason, running an impressive 4.63 40 time (97th percentile in the country).

The Woodstock offense deploys Hall in a number of ways to get the ball into his hands. On one play you will see him deep down field making an impressive catch, and then the next play receiving a bubble screen for quick yardage. That versatility can be attributed to his quickness, route running, and natural instincts for the game.

Woodstock is 3-2 on the season and with Etowah HS upcoming, Hall will be tested against their experienced secondary. This is a pivotal matchup for his 3-2 squad, and players like Hall will be leaned on to make big plays across the field if they want to pull off the victory.
