CQvjaOSWEAAgGrEThe Salem defensive star has had a very strong season, making some big hits throughout the year. The Citadel is landing a well built defensive player (6’2″ 218 lbs) who can play immediately at the FCS level, especially on special teams.

Academics was an important factor for Holmes, who also visited UT-Chattanooga just weeks ago with teammate Behr Cooper.

Ultimately, The Citadel was where the first team All-Rockdale County linebacker felt the most comfortable.

Holmes is the 2nd commitment in the class of 2016 for The Citadel so far.
