T-GREGG Nation Ready for Another Epic Fall

Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains lives a rising high school junior named Tucker Gregg (also known as T-Gregg). Gregg is what you might call a natural runner, and last fall he bulldozed his way to the All-Area team at running back.

It was probably that early autumn night against North Murray that cemented his legacy. The Murray County star running back went sprinting down the sideline, busting through a defensive back like he was made out of a first grader’s papier mache project, all while T-Gregg Nation in the bleachers went berserker.

Tucker GreggWe spoke to Gregg and asked him what his goals are this upcoming season and the current development of his recruitment.

“I have been working to get better since my last game. I am working out twice a day and increasing my strength and size tremendously,” Gregg said. “I have been working on my speed and power to break tackles much easier and outrun defensive players.”

So far, a few schools have stopped by Murray County to check out the Class of ’18 running back. “West Georgia, Kennesaw State, and Berry College have visited my high school and spoke to me.”

Currently he has no official offers but hopes to earn some this summer at upcoming camps. “I will be attending the University of Georgia camp, the Georgia Southern camp, Kennesaw State camp, West Georgia camp, a camp at Buford High School where Georgia Southern, Georgia, West Georgia, Reinhardt, and Colorado State will be attending the camp.”

The powerful running back hopes to learn a lot at these camps and utilize his new skills on the field. His personal goal for this season “is to rush for 1,500 yards, and 20 rushing touchdowns or more.”

“Most importantly, my team goals are to win region, and enter the state playoffs,” Gregg said.
