Speedster Puckett Collecting Offers

Langston Hughes wide receiver Karam Puckett received an offer on July 7th from Towson, giving the speedy receiver three college scholarship offers. The Class of ’17 receiver announced his offer on Twitter:

Towson joins Austin Peay and Jacksonville State as the three schools that have offered the speedy receiver for his services. Watch the first-team All-Region athlete play on film, and you might wonder why more schools haven’t offered.

He has legit speed and can burn most defensive backs he goes up against 1 v 1. Using his background in track, Puckett runs with a natural stride and excellent body lean. He has the size and versatility to play multiple receiver positions at the next level.

Puckett is also a threat on special teams to make an impact play. Whether he is taking a kick back for a long return or blocking a punt in coverage, the Class of ’17 prospect is a playmaker and the type of guy who will do the little things for his team.

Puckett is a strong student, sporting a 3.4 GPA and a 26 on the ACT. He has the raw tools and versatility to be a player at the next level, so we expect more colleges to become involved in his recruitment.
