Snowball Ready For Summer Camps

Brandon Snowball is our most recent winner of the Recruit Georgia Play of the Day. The compact running back from Arabia Mountain squirted up the middle, shrugged out of a tackle, then broke free down the sideline for a terrific touchdown score.

Recruit Georgia caught up with the class of ’17 back and talked offseason recruiting.

Brandon Snowball“I have heavy interest from Navy and also from Wofford, East Tennessee, and Florida A&M.” Snowball said.

The class of 17 back will have a busy summer camp schedule to choose from. So far, the lightening fast back received invites from: “ODU, South Alabama, Navy, Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Princeton, and LaGrange.”

Snowball confirmed attending the ODU, South Alabama, Yale, and LaGrange camps. He is hopeful to make it to Cornell and Harvard as well.

Snowball won the Elite Jr Showcase RB MVP today due to his overall great athleticism. He was nearly impossible to guard in 1 v 1’s, showing off tricky footwork in the process.

The rising senior’s favorite position is running back and he tailors his game after a legend. “I model my game after LaDainian Tomlinson because of his speed and his ability to break tackles.”

Watch the elusive back’s film and you see some “LT” in his game. He is hard to bring down, has speed, and is a threat in the passing game as well.

The rising senior back believes his elusiveness can be an asset to any college. “My biggest strength of my game is my will to get to the end-zone. If you watch my highlights, on every play you can see that the first defender never tackles me.”

He would like to improve durability and running vision. “I need to continue on improving my endurance so I can stay in the game longer and follow my blockers better.”

His goal for next year “is to be more of a dominant factor on my team.” He has worked hard this offseason gaining 10 pounds, and made considerable improvements on his speed/agility measurements.

Snowball splits carries in the backfield with fellow FBS caliber back Carl White III. Arabia Mountain will be able to grind other teams down with their two-headed monster next season at running back.
