Stavion Stevenson, a rising senior defensive end for Cedar Shoals HS, received outstanding news yesterday afternoon when Georgia State offered the lanky pass rushing defensive end, making the local school his very first offer.

The athletic-looking Stevenson has worked very hard this offseason and was relieved to receive his first offer. “For me to get my first college offer is a blessing and a dream come true.” He continued, “I just waited my for my time and stay humble and it came.”

Stevenson plans to visit the downtown Atlanta school as soon as possible. “I plan to visit State very soon and show them lots of love.”

Georgia State is not the only school interested in the high potential prospect. “Other schools that are talking to me (are) App State, Western Carolina, UNC Charlotte, Wake Forest, UCF, & GT right now.”
