Sleeper Report 5/8

Here is today’s “Georgia HS football Sleeper Report.” Here we highlight players with less than 200 HUDL views on their highlight reel in hopes to increase their exposure. We have listed out 5 sleepers down below with their film attached.

Oscar Gonzalez
WR/TE SE Whitfield
6’4″ 205
PROFILE
Scoop – Gonzalez has a great looking frame and let us know that he dropped his 40 from 4.9 to 4.62, while also gaining 20 pounds in the process this offseason. We really like his potential to continue to grow into a TE role. He shows light feet and tracks the pass really well.

Armand Childs
SS Northside-WR
5’11” 170
HUDL
Scoop – The rising senior is a 3-year starter at his HS and just seems to find himself at the right place at the right time. He is a very aggressive player, gets off his blocks fast, and has innate ability to strip the ball carrier. He shows a lot of versatility.

Josh Taylor
OG West Hall
6’4″ 300
PROFILE
Scoop – Taylor is a big young man, who has started the last two years on varsity and earned All-Region each time. His raw strength is perfectly suited to play OG at the next level. Great academics as well.

Jackson Norton
C Rome
6’3″ 275
PROFILE
Scoop – Norton was the starting center for Rome’s state title winner last year and paved the way for two 1000 yard rushers. He practices against an elite d-line each day, and it shows on film. He looks very comfortable in pass or run blocking. Great student too.

Jared Crawford
DT Sprayberry
6’1″ 260
HUDL
Scoop – Crawford keeps a really flat back and shows quick feet maneuvering around in the trenches. He’s a fighter out there, and shows a lot of determination even when taking on multiple blockers. He has rock-solid film against really tough competition.
