2018 QUARTERBACKS – click name to see profile

C/O 18 Jarren Williams
QB Central Gwinnett

Williams can sling the ball. He has good size to see over the line and an intuitive approach when in the pocket. He feels pressure in the pocket naturally but doesn’t bail out too fast. He needs to work on reading his progressions but physically Williams has elite potential. He has an outstanding arm and a nice touch on intermediate routes. The class of 18 quarterback transferred to Central Gwinnett this spring (who tossed the rock a lot last season including over 400 yards against Walton in the opening round of the playoffs). FSU and Louisville are his lone offers to date but not for long.

C/O 18 Jack Mangel
QB Clarke Central

Mangel has a big time arm and he put up some massive games last fall (made #4 in our TOP 10 during Week 9 last fall). He steps into his throws and snap off a pass 50 yards down field with ease. He reads the defense, and finds his open man quickly. Keeps his cool when under pressure and will dump it down to the easier pass. Mangel looks like a great athlete (plays multiple sports) and should attract Power 5 schools with his skill set.

C/O 18 Luke Shiflett
QB Northwest Whitfield

Shiflett has blown up over the last few months after showing out at The Nike Opening camp last March. The Northwest Whitfield star gained almost 40 pounds in the last year and it has made a big difference. Rusty Mansell checked out the class of 2018 QB and had him rated the #11 dual threat in the country. He has an excellent touch on the ball. He anticipates the receivers breaks excellently and he moves well in the pocket, keeping his eyes up field.  He has a big frame and should put on weight quickly. Shiflett has excellent vision when running with the ball and keeps his legs churning at all times. He has a ton of potential to play at the FBS level.
