Colbert was offered by Ohio on May 13th and looks to show a ton of FBS promise. He plays the game with a lot of swagger on the field. He stands 6’2″, 197 pounds and runs a reported 4.48 40, making him a high school defensive back’s nightmare 1 v 1.
The rising senior is a natural playing deep passes. He does a very good job locating the ball mid-flight and will fight for positioning to make a high-pointed catch. Once he makes the catch, the versatile receiver is a threat to take it to the house.
This season should be another tough year for defensive backs in Middle Georgia. UGA quarterback commit Jake Fromm will be targeting Colbert a ton again this season, so we expect another great season for the star wide receiver.
