Sleeper of the Day

Eli Dumas
2025 OT
Whitewater

At around 6’5″, Dumas has the size that so many D1 programs look for, and just glancing at his weightlifting metrics, he is definitely on the right track. Dumas uses his good strength, especially up top, to stay engaged, and is sticky on the defender maintaining solid body control. He shows solid aggression, but would like to see him drive his legs more consistently through the block. The 2025 OL is too content sealing off the defender, and college coaches want to see impactful blocks. Dumas needs to work on his pad level, flattening out his back while engaged, and general flexibility. He should execute more impactful blocks, and lead to more pancakes/knockdowns.  There is no doubt that Dumas has a good value proposition, especially when you consider how under the radar he is currently. A 29″ vertical jump at 6’5″ 290 lbs. with a 78.5″ wing span just screams D1 OL. Honestly, those metrics suggest that G5 programs need to take another look. Dumas needs to continue to show progress with his fundamentals because his metrics are so enticing. He is a 2025 OL to monitor very closely and see how his progression continues into his senior year.

Commitments

Maddox Dykeman
2025 McIntosh
Furman

The huge 6’8″ 255 lbs. defensive end is among the longest of any defender in the state. Furman earns a commitment from a player who just scratching the surface of his potential. Considering his length and motor after the football, if Dykeman can put it all together, he has some of the best upside of any defensive lineman in the state.

Adrian Forbes
2025 Blessed Trinity
Davidson

The senior out of Blessed Trinity is an All-Region regular earning the honors in 2022 and 2023. At 6’1″ 260 lbs., Forbes has a low center of gravity and technically skilled hands to get off blocks.

Tyree Myrick
2025 Woodward Acd.
Wofford

Myrick was a major contributor to the 6A runner-ups in 2023. First comes first, Myrick will absolutely pop the snot out of the ball carrier. The Woodward Academy senior has excellent instincts reading the field and seems at home playing nickle. Wofford has been putting together a talented Georgia class this summer and Myrick can certainly be added to the top of the heap.

Three ‘n Out

Deerfield-Windsor rising senior Cole Jones is a 6’1″ 205 lbs. linebacker prospect who recently squatted 545 lbs. twice and then maxed at 585 lbs. Not only is his squat among the best I’ve seen for a player in his weight class, but Jones shows good combine metrics with a 9’7″ broad jump and 35.7″ vertical. As a junior, the explosive athlete played both defensive end and running back. Considering his solid change of direction at RB, Jones seems like a natural fit to play OLB at the next level.

I feel confident in saying this: Reshod Curtis is going to have a big senior year. The new Newton HS two-way athlete jumps into a situation where there is a vacuum of talent and experience through graduation for the Rams, and the dynamic senior is prime to be a difference maker. Curtis is coming off an injury-plagued junior season but showed exciting flashes as a sophomore returning one of the longest interceptions of the 2022 season. Watch closely, his film is going to pop.

Score’s Najeh Wilkins captured some excellent footage of senior receiver Christopher ‘Taz’ Smith. The new Gainesville student showed off his strong hands and good top-end acceleration to get consistent separation. Smith is another athlete coming off a knee injury but is back to 100% and ready to make an impact in the Red Elephants’ dynamic up-tempo attack.
