Three Heating Up
Kojo Antwi
2022 Lambert
Antwi has been on a recruiting tear over the last month. The Lambert class of 2022 wide receiver has earned recent offers from Michigan State, Tenn, Kentucky, Louisville, FSU, Nebraska, Arkansas, Minn, Ole Miss and Arizona State. That’s just in the month of April! The Lambert County receiver is an explosive athlete with elite, top end speed that will rank him up at the very top of his recruiting class nationally. Strong athletic profile at 6’1″ 190 lbs. – expect the 2022 receiver to continue to add on P5 offers.
Rodney Hill
2022 Bulloch Acd.
Another class of 2022 athlete is making a lot of recruiting noise this last month in Rodney Hill. The Bulloch Academy rising junior took in recent offers from Michigan State, Tennessee, Maryland, and South Alabama. The All-State choice is a natural running in the open field and glides by defenders with relative ease. He has a big 6′ frame and should be able to pour on weight over the next few years here and be well over 200 lbs. Hill also had a big impact as a receiver out of the slot in Bulloch’s offense, and shows a nice versatile skill set to be a multi-functional offensive weapon at the next level.
Damion Fitzpatrick
2021 Arabia Mt.
Fitzpatrick has flown under the radar since his junior year finished, and has picked up some offers along the way, but just in the last few weeks has it begun to snowball. Just last week Kent State, Tenn Tech and Murray State offered. He also picked up some offers from UT-Chattanooga, Buffalo, Air Force and UT-Martin last month. The big-hitting safety has excellent size at 6’3″ 193 lbs. and should definitely be a name to watch the next few weeks here as we expect many more FBS programs to jump in with offers.
Sleeper of the Day
Jordan Stringer
2021 Laney
Stringer has a good feel for the game. He jumps the gaps and is into the backfield quickly. Does a nice job of getting leverage on the blocker and has pretty quick hands to get off. Big hitter, comes in low and drives at the hips. Also played some RB, but that’s just because he is the best athlete on his team. Stringer finishes his tackles emphatically. Drives his legs through the ball carrier and when he makes contact, the ball carrier goes backwards. Really like Stringer, he is the type of recruit that can absolutely play FBS football. Want to see him continue to work on his lateral quickness and getting more flexible in the hips, but the natural power he generates is impressive none the less. Stringer has the frame to play multiple linebacker spots and has played DE when he was an underclassmen too, so that can always be an option on obvious passing downs. Right now, Stringer holds offers from G5 and FCS programs, but in our opinion deserves heavy looks from P5 programs. He is one of the top linebackers in this class.
