Sleeper of the Day
Christian Monfort
2026 Morgan County
Running Back
Monfort was among the top rushers in 2A in 2024 with 1500 yards and 12 touchdowns, earning unanimous All-State HM honors. At 5’11” and 205 lbs., the 2026 back has a solid frame to play at the D1 level. Monfort is a tough runner, keeping his legs through contact and grinding out extra yards after contact. He does an excellent job of cutting back against the grain. Often, you will find Monfort make a hard cut at the line of scrimmage, which led to a lot of +20 yard runs. Very good acceleration going into his top speed, and he became a lot more explosive as an athlete going from sophomore to junior year. That is promising. If Monfort can continue this kind of progression athletically, then he should be a lock for first-team All-State this upcoming season. Also, he’s an impact player on defense, grabbing 11 tackles for a loss. Monfort has been among the most promising prospects at Morgan County as of late; he is a true football player. He is extremely physical running behind his pad, explosive making lateral cuts then sequencing over repeatedly showing light feet and natural vision at the line of scrimmage. This is an FBS-caliber runner. For his senior year, a 2000-yard rushing season seems possible, if not likely, especially if he can improve on finishing off runs by incorporating a stiff arm, because most of the DB’s on film do not want that action. Full stop, Monfort has all of the tools to be one of the top backs in this class. With only a West Georgia offer at the moment, he is heavily underrated.

Roswell kicker Balint Vorsomarty was taking no breaks on Easter. The #3 kicker in Georgia according to Kohl’s Kicking worked on his kicking trajectory by practicing with a soccer goal, recreating the line of scrimmage.
Happy Easter everyone!
Finally got my hands on a soccer goal. Love this drill. @HKA_Tanalski @CoachThompson05 @CoachBo95 @Coach_Watters @Roswell_FB @RecruitGeorgia pic.twitter.com/dJn4zO5lH2— Balint Vorosmarty (@BVorosmarty) April 21, 2025
Fellowship Christian’s CJ Givers visited Ole Miss over the weekend. The rising senior is one of the top running backs in the state rushing over a thousand yards back-to-back seasons. He was named All-State in 2024 after rushing for 1403 yards and totaling 21 touchdowns.

Freshman Kevin Hartsfield has more offers than almost any other class of 2028 athlete in the state. His 2024 film shows an athlete with elite balance and top-end acceleration that is rare for an athlete his age. What’s even more exciting? Hartsfield was not even the starter at Newton, but make no mistake, the 6′ 205 lbs. back will be getting the lion’s share of the RB reps in 2025, and his production will be among the best of any back in 6A.
