2018 RB Dameon Pierce

2018 RB Dameon Pierce

Dameon Pierce, a sophomore running back from Bainbridge, received an offer from Auburn on November 30th. This was the first offer for the explosive back, who is 5’11” 205-pounds and runs a reported 4.51 40-yard dash. Pierce does a great job of planting his foot in the ground, and making precise cuts. He has excellent vision and does a really good job reading his blocks. Auburn is his first offer but more should soon be coming for this spectacular sophomore talent. HUDL Page

Westlake’s Jarrett Cornelius received his second offer from University of Cumberlands. The Westlake defensive back shows good playmaking ability and is a strong candidate for lower division schools. Cornelius was All Region and was top 10 in Class AAAAAA in interceptions. RG Profile

Cedar Grove’s Labron Morris received an offer from South Carolina State. Morris is a natural runner who has a lot of experience toting the rock at the HS level. Morris is a chunker and can move the chains 20-30 yards up field. SR Film

Jalen Virgil‘s recruitment has been blowing up lately. The Mountain View senior wide receiver is 6’1″ 202 and is a USATF All-American for track and field. Mercer offered the speed demon first then, App State, Samford, Old Dominion, Elon and Western Carolina were not too far behind. Virgil runs a reported 4.26 40 and showcases his break away speed in his SR Film

Zane Ashley from Peachtree Ridge visited Wake Forest last weekend. Wake narrowly lost to Duke but have shown great improvement under 2nd year coach Dave Clawson. Ashley had a outstanding junior season and was voted Gwinnett Co. Defensive Player of the Month by the coaches in September. RG Profile

Creekside SR QB Felix Harper shared his final career stats: 10,122 yards passing, 103 TD’s, 72% completion & 540 yards rushing.

Stephenson’s Eugene Brown received his 5th offer from Cincinnati. Brown has received a lot of interest from AAC and ACC schools so far. He plays the safety spot with swagger and is a big hitter. FILM

Cameron KlineSouth Forsyth had a very successful year this fall, losing in the quarterfinals to Colquitt Co. Cameron Kline, their athletic DE/TE prospect, was a major reason why. Kline is an explosive player, and gets after the football with his great motor. He just received an offer from Harvard and Penn this week. RG Profile

Brookwood wide receiver Dorian Miles received offers from Western Carolina and Wagner on December 2nd. Dorian made great strides this season with his route running and looks crisper with his breaks compared to his junior season. FILM

Dominick Blaylock is in close contention for the most offers to a freshman in Georgia with a little over 10 (Owen Pappoe from Grayson is the current leader with 18 – RG Profile). Georgia Tech is the latest to offer the dynamic freshman wide receiver for Walton and now has roughly 20 offers in total. FILM

Roswell’s talented cornerback, LeAnthony Williams, was offered by coach Smith from Penn State on December 2nd. Williams was offer last spring by Alabama and Georgia and blew up soon after. He now considered one of the top 2017 corners in the country and was just invited to the US Army All American Combine.

A pair of young Walton players took in the UGA vs Georgia Southern game a few weeks back. Sophomore Matthew Hall a 6’6″ 290 offensive tackle prospect & freshman Luke Boynton a 6’5″ 210 tight end had a good time. Hall has at least visited UGA twice this fall. 

Tyler Taylor a very athletic OLB prospect from Lanier HS received his first offer from Colorado State. Another Lanier prospect, Mike Allen, a 6’6″ defensive end received his third offer also from Colorado State. Coach Bobo continues to scour the state, even after his UGA departure a year ago. 

Tennsessee State offered Donald Boone, a raw but very athletic offensive lineman from Daluth HS. He is 6’4″ 250-pounds and moves really well for his size. He just needs to fillout and hone his blocking skills. RG Profile

Quin Williams, a very athletic sophomore OLB from Morgan County, received his first offer today from Mississippi State. Williams is a 6’3″ 220 LB with elite speed with a reported time of 4.65. Soph FILM

Dameon Williams, a ball-magnet corner, was offered by Wake Forest tonight. This was the third offer for the Norcross cornerback, who was offered by Duke and UNC a month ago.
