Welcome to another edition of the Recruiting Recap! Hope everyone is doing well, and if you are new here, this is a feature where we attempt to report all of the offers, commitments, and whatever recruiting news we can tally to go along with our always coveted sleeper of the day.
Not much else to say, we are going to be jumping into All-State research here soon, and going over All-Region teams at the moment. Expect All-State to be released immediately after the season, and it will be staggered since my site cannot handle +10k people on the site at once. So stay tuned, I already have been contacted by a few college coaches about when we will get that out! – David
Commitments
Ty Glenn
2021 Cairo
Albany State
Scoop: Big linemen out of Cairo who stands about 6’4″ and 300 lbs. has a ton of raw upside at DT. He is very strong at the point of attack but needs to continue to work on core strength and hip flexibility. Very good commit for ASU, Glenn was widely considered a D1 recruit this time a year ago, and it’s hard for a DII program to find a player with his athletic upside.

Sleeper of the Day
Quante Jennings
2021 Cartersville
Jennings stands at 5’10” and has a nice running style with excellent cut back vision. He does a very good job of setting up the defender and makes very good open-field cuts. Sells these cuts very well and does a great job of reading the defender. I really like how he lowers his shoulder into contact and does a nice job of falling forward. Cannot teach the elusive nature that Jennings shows with the football. He has pretty quick feet but it’s more to do with his natural ability to make a defender miss. Couple that with his running vision and you got to like what you see in Jennings potential at the next level. The 2021 recruit doesn’t have the greatest top-end speed, and will need to continue to sharpen up his agility. He should continue to fill out just fine and be over 200 lbs. As it stands, he is one of the most underrated backs we have seen for in the state, you cannot teach his open-field vision.
