Commitments

Nyland Green
2021 Newton
Georgia

Scoop: Green was easily the top CB prospect we evaluated from the class of 2021. In terms of size, speed, quickness, instincts, and really whatever attribute you can think that depicts a CB, Green has it all. He is one of the best cornerback prospects we have evaluated in the last 5 years. Georgia now has secured the top two cornerbacks in the state with Green in 2021 and Bouie in 2022.

Sleeper of the Day

Christopher Murray
2021 ARC

Murray made All-Region all three year starting at Academy of Richmond Co. taking over one of the corner spots and being the lockdown defender at the position. The 2021 recruit does a nice job of playing the deep pass and gauging the trajectory. He does a solid job of reading the play, and flips his hips quickly to get upfield. Murray has added another 10 lbs. to his frame and even grown an inch over the last year. That’s a pretty big athletic jump, and senior film you see him looking a lot more explosive breaking on passes. In a way, his athleticism has caught up with his instincts. Speaking of instincts, Murray does a good job of reading the QB’s eyes and jumping the pass. He puts himself in very good positioning to make a play on the pass and had a lot of PBU’s over the course of his career. Senior year he is playing a lot of DB spots, and hitting with authority down the middle of the field. That was a big area for improvement over the last year, and you can see that Murray can mix it up with big hits. You got to love his passion and work ethic, Murray is someone what we evaluated as a sophomore, and stood out as a solid athlete at our combine, and it’s been encouraging to see the continued progress over the years. The young man loves the game of football, and is very underrated among DB’s in this recruiting class because he is just relentless playing the football up top and just seems to find a way to rake the pass out.
