Perri tested out and multiple combines now, he is a solid athlete for a class of 2022 student, really starting to fill out his frame and should be pretty close to 215-220 by this fall. Shows pretty good body control. Working on his lateral quickness should be a focus, but I’m impressed with the improvement with his acceleration and explosiveness in general. Perri uses his hands well to get around the block, which should bode well at the next level. Perri is more of a natural inside linebacker at the next level. He has a good motor and he does a good job of pursuing the ball carrier from the backside. He has a good nose for the football for sure, and overall his tackling form is good. He meets the ball carrier in the hole and hits with impact too. Very intense player, has a lot of urgency getting after the ball carrier. Also played off the edge at defensive end too, which says a lot about his core strength and the work he puts in to be such a versatile athlete. Very encouraged by his production in 2019, and will be watching out in 2020 for sure.
