What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Long cornee who is fast and plays smart

Davis has one of the best broad jumps in the state going around 10’4″, and it’s hard to find a position more than cornerback where that kind of athleticism is more translatable. The 2025 DB had 4 interceptions and 4 PBU’s last fall. He is an interesting prospect with the frame and length to provide a wide area to break up passes. Davis needs to continue to sharpen up his backpedal and work on sliding his feet more rather than hop. His length is effective against perimeter blocking, and he does a good job of setting the edge and being physical at the point of attack. Davis shows very good hip quickness and solid top-end speed flipping over and sticking with a receiver. Davis plays both zone and man coverage well but seems to be most at home dropping back in zone coverage. There is some promising upside with Davis, and he continues to sharpen up at a fundamental level, that will showcase his impressive athletic exploits.
