What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Dual Sport Athlete, QB Stats and Academics

Sturbaum jumped into the starting role and was immediately an impact player. The 2025 QB threw for 2582 yards and 20 touchdowns while also rushing for almost 500 yards and an additional 5 scores. He was pretty efficient completing 65% of his passes. The rising senior QB is a solid dual-threat candidate at the next level. He runs with good forward lean and has several long runs where he strides out for long scores of about 40-50 yards. Sturbaum uses his quickness well in the pocket and shows some good bounce moving around the pass rush. He quickly identifies open receivers and has good timing with his receivers. Does a really good job of reading the secondary. Taking a jump with his weightlifting could boost his arm strength. He has decent pop on his throws, but considering he is 6’3″ and 175 lbs., that might be the most tangible skill he can improve going into his senior year. Also, he is a competent runner, but becoming more explosive coming out of his cuts and accelerating faster to his top speed will have college coaches’ attention during his senior year. His film is very encouraging, and the type of QB to watch closely going into the 2024 season. A 3k passing-yard season seems entirely possible, as well as McIntosh continuing to make more strides as a consistent playoff team.
