Solomon was one of the best QB’s in class 2A last season throwing for right at 2k yards and just being the ultimate playmaker for his team. The two sport star who also plays basketball with a few D1 offers under his belt in that sport plays like a PG on the field facilitating the ball around to all of his teammates. He is a pretty smart player moving around in the pocket. Very quick getting out of trouble and naturally feels pressure. Solomon has a strong arm and can slice the middle of a defense. He does have a low release point on his throws, and dips before the release too. That’s some bad habits. As a spread QB though, Solomon is proven to be one of the better ones in the state of Georgia. He is really good at stepping up in the pocket and making last second throws. He has a nice touch in the red zone hitting his receivers in the back corner. Once he does scramble, Solomon does a nice job of getting upfield and running vertically. He makes some good throws on the run. Northeast is one of the top teams in 2A for a reason, and Solomon being the main signal-caller could lead them to a 2A state title game. They already started off the year strong knocking off 5A power Jones County 33-28. He did an excellent job of managing this game, keeping his eyes upfield when scrambling and made the Jones Co. defense pay. He’s pretty good at going through his progressions and dumping the ball off if he doesn’t have much going. Solomon reminds me of Malik Willis to some extent. He is very quick, makes some dynamic cuts in tight spaces and has the ability to make tough throws on the run. Looks like he added some nice weight this offseason, and should be fine getting to 190 at the college level just looking at his frame.
