What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My leadership, work ethic and love for the game

Davis is a good looking DE/OLB prospect that we watched the last few years. The 2020 defender has wide shoulders and pretty long arms so he gets off blocks quickly. He has extremely light feet getting around blocks, and the energy and pursuit he consistently shows from the backside is what we look for in D1 caliber recruits. Davis uses his hands really well already getting off blocks, and he should develop well as a speed rusher at the next level if he doesn’t take to OLB, so there are situations where he can excel no matter what. Played well against all competition last year, and against better teams he even lined up at DT his junior year to stop the run. Davis is just a gamer out there on the field, he puts his body on the line making catches at TE and is relentless as a blocker too. He’s only 6’2″ so playing OLB in a 3-4 defense would be ideal, no matter what, the 2020 athlete can get into the backfield, and D1 schools will want his speed/effort. Huge improvements his senior year, much stronger all around, probably one of the strongest athletes at his weight in the state. Davis is playing very good football his senior year and is finally getting some reps at linebacker too.
