Rodemaker took the starting job after seeing some reps his junior year and really made it his own with right at 3 k yards on the season. The 2020 QB can throw a rope of a pass, one of the better arms in the class of 2020 – no doubt. He’s got good length, sees the field well down field. Rodemaker is now up to 195 lbs, and what has impressed with his 15 lbs weight total is the speed improvement. The 2020 QB went from a pocket passer to running a 4.63 40 time, and perhaps even more impressive a 35″ vertical jump at The Opening. Rodemaker shows good toughness staying in the pocket and makes nice throws right before getting hit. His arm allows for him to make difficult throws, and get the ball into locations that most 2020 QB’s cannot reach, especially out to the sideline where he just hammers passes in. The class of 2020 is full of competitive QB’s, but Rodemaker’s immense arm strength proves he is near the tops, and his latest spurt of offers only validates what he have thought heading into his junior year, that Rodemaker is an FBS caliber QB, and someone every P5 school in the country should heavily consider.
