What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My work ethic and my academic

Griffin is a dual sport athlete playing both football and basketball. At around 6’5″ and 245 lbs., the junior has the right combination to attract the attention of FBS programs. He’s pretty quick moving laterally and has the type of length to break off blocks. Griffin needs a good bit of work fundamentally speaking, getting lower with his pad level and utilizing his length with better leverage and quicker/stronger hands at the point of attack. That said, he shows good physicality and punch-getting off blocks. He needs work getting out his stance quicker and would like to see him hustle out to the sideline better when in pursuit of the ball carrier. That all said, Griffin has a lot of upside and the type of profile to grow into an SDE or DT at the next level and be over 280 lbs. He’s an impressive student who takes AP classes and seems to push himself, so we think the 2025 prospect will be a quick learner on the field too. Griffin needs more time in the weight room, and generally speaking, needs more production just a few flashes from his junior year, but there is a lot to like about his potential at the next level.
