Explosive off the edge and a nose for the football.
Gray was a beast his junior year, and his lightening quick first step is near the top of any defensive end in the state of Georgia. He has really quick hands, and shows elite ability to change direction. Very effective rushing the passer, very quick swim move. The 2019 recruit has all the ability to be a power 5 defensive end at the next level. Elite speed, that is legit on the football field and will translate to success at the next level. He was one of the best players in the Rising Senior, really stood out to me was his tackling fundamentals and how explosive he is.
