Waters emerged as one of Yates favorite targets last fall out of his receivers. He might lack a certain degree of height, but shows good playmaking ability to make a catch over the defense. He shows decent quickness and ability to change direction – pretty quick hips. I think he could be a pretty solid slot receiver at the next level, but would like to see him improve how quickly he gets to his top speed. Defensive film is of equal quality, but does not standout compared to offense right now. He has a good frame and body type to add weight and be around 190 at the next level. Would like to see his compact frame lead to more yards after the catch. Quality athlete, expecting him garner solid interest this offseason, especially at summer camps.
