What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am a student in the International Baccalaureate program at Douglas County with a 4.0 GPA. I strive to be the best on the field and in the classroom.
There is a lot to like about Josh Slays game. He has a great frame to add weight, and is a natural attacking the ball carrier into the backfield. Get him into a college weight lifting program, and watch him just pour on weight. I’m expecting him to make a really big jump for his senior year, and becoming one of the top linebackers in Georgia. Absolutely love this kids football IQ, and ability to defend the run and the pass. He was the top tackler on a top 10 caliber 6-A team last year, and next fall he should be one of the leading tacklers in the entire classification. He has a very high character, and would be a great person to add into your locker room. SR year he ended up with 130 tackles on the year and earned All-State honors on our website. Slay is a cerebral football player with excellent speed getting to the football.
