Brown showed up to our combine and his measurements are legit. The big Northside-COL DL has a huge frame to work with but still needs work in the weight room to shore up tackling going into his senior year. Brown has to get stronger at the point of attack and work on getting better leverage while engaged with his opponent. He has a big frame, and over the last 9 months has added right at 25 lbs, which if you follow our scouting reports, is exactly what was predicted. Senior film is considerably better, in fact, Brown looks like the type of player that college really need to take notice. It’s hard to find an athlete with his size and general athleticism that we confirmed at our combine. Tackling is much better in 2019 too, he is getting ball carrier down at a much more efficient clip. The improvement shows where Brown is headed, but would like to see him work on his motor and drive his legs through the blocker when engaged. 8’3″ standing reach is legit, and you see him get good leverage consistently on film.
