What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am a multi-sport player and I have what it takes both on and off the field. My commitment to be better than good drives my performance on the football field as a wide receiver and place kicker, along with my efforts in the classroom and in my service to the community. I use my God Given abilities to promote teamwork and a winning attitude. This ability also assists me with my CLASS A certification when volunteering with the Special Olympics. You can find my highlights on HUDL but to me winning as a TEAM is more important than individual stats.
The 2021 recruit might lack size, but his overall top end speed is certainly eye-catching, and going through our combine series he is one of the few athletes to run a sub 4.7 40 time. Griswold played a little bit of running back last year to go along with some safety too. He has pretty good pad level and keeps his feet moving through contact. I would like to see him get up field quicker on quick screen passes out to the flat. Griswold is just an okay runner in the open field, he needs to avoid hesitating, square up his pads, and his natural speed to burn by the defense to get the most yards possible. Heading into his junior year, you got to see the three-way athlete (he also kicks for Jackson County) start to gain weight and get closer to 160 lbs. His natural speed with some work as a route runner could make him a dangerous player in the slot at the next level, but a good bit of work needs to be done, especially in the weight room, but cannot teach Griswold’s ability to get up field.
