Edwards showed some flashes his junior year, and from judging his film, he definitely played a ton of roles for his team. The 2020 recruit is very good at blocking. Shows excellent focus with his catches, making several with the defense draped over him. With some added weight, Edwards skill set should really shine. He’s a tough player, and makes catches over the middle that are bound to be big hits. He figures to be the primary receiver at Tri-Cities this fall, but under their new HC, you can expect the ball to be spread around in a healthy manner. Either way, Edwards is really set to produce well at Tri-Cities. His ability as a blocker should not be understated, and something that will earn him a lot of reps this fall. Edwards takes pride in his work, and does a solid of getting leverage with the defender. Excellent prospect for a run-heavy team, looking to see him make a jump skill-wise as a receiver this fall.
