Moon is a fundamentally sound tackler who meets the ball carrier square in the numbers. He’s very quick, and does a nice job slipping around blocks to make a tackle for loss. Moon doesn’t have ideal size for SS, but could definitely play NB, which is really what he plays in HS. He’s a quick reactor to the football, makes solid tackles out in the flat. The 2020 recruit’s tackling ability is a true skill. He can make a quick read, brush off a block and then finish his tackle efficiently. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him lead the team in tackles either – on some plays he is lined up at MLB. Even gets reps at RB too. Moon is just a complete football player. Great grades too, I think the academy schools would be interested in Moon but as a whole he needs more work in the weight room and speed is just average too.
